Command-line tools for photographers.
photoc is a set of C command-line tools for photographers to review, organize, and prepare JPEG photos from the terminal. It reads EXIF metadata (including Sony ARW), summarizes shoots, finds blurry shots and duplicates, renames and sorts files into folders, makes contact sheets and resized copies, and scrubs GPS data. It's script-friendly, mostly outputs JSON, and never modifies originals without --apply/--in-place.
Why now: It was just shared on Hacker News as a Show HN post, drawing attention to a new photographer-focused CLI toolkit.
Who it is for: Photographers, especially Sony shooters on macOS or Linux, who prefer terminal workflows and shell scripting over GUI photo apps.
