Event application agent distro: maintained profiles, computer-use applications, and rate-limit wakeups
Eventmaxxer is an experimental Python 'agent distro' you open in any computer-use-capable AI agent. Give it an event goal (meetups, conferences, hackathons) and it discovers matching events, applies to eligible free ones using a reusable profile, logs everything to a Google Sheet or CSV, and builds a shortlist. Local helpers save state and schedule wakeups to resume after rate limits.
Why now: It was just shared on Hacker News with a demo video, riding interest in computer-use agents that automate real-world signup workflows.
Who it is for: People who want an AI agent to automatically find and register them for events, on macOS or Linux with an authenticated browser.
