A Tiny biped duck robot 🦆
Microduck is a small (~25 cm, 800 g) biped duck robot from Pollen Robotics. This repo is its onboard software: Rust daemons on a Rockchip RK3566 run a 50 Hz control loop driving fifteen servos using reinforcement-learning policies (trained with MuJoCo/PPO in a companion repo, loaded as ONNX). It walks, rolls on wheels, picks things up, self-rights after falling, and is driven via gamepad or laptop over Bluetooth.
Why now: It's an open, hackable RL-driven hobby robot with demo videos and a purchasable product, drawing significant attention (over 10k stars).
Who it is for: Robotics hobbyists and developers who want a real sim2real RL robot they can buy, drive, and hack on.
Stars over our 205 snapshots: 10.9K to 12.4K, since 2 d ago.
