56k.rip

A website called 56k.rip lets visitors relive the 1996 dial-up internet experience, complete with the slow connection speeds and retro aesthetics of the era. The project is drawing attention online, with users nostalgic for the early web sharing it and reminiscing about screeching modems, slow page loads and the feel of going online in the mid-1990s.
