ANYmal, the four-legged industrial inspection robot developed by Swiss company ANYbotics, has been cleared to pass security checks, according to a report by Interesting Engineering. The quadruped robots are used for autonomous inspection in industrial facilities such as plants and refineries. Clearance through security screening removes a practical barrier to deploying the robots across sites and during transport, and is being noted as a step toward wider adoption in industry.
