Adam Bandt

The Australian Greens are holding a leadership vote following the party's poor result at the federal election, which saw leader Adam Bandt lose his Melbourne seat and the party's numbers in the House of Representatives fall. Senators including Mehreen Faruqi, Sarah Hanson-Young, Larissa Waters and David Shoebridge have been named as possible successors, with the party room deciding the new leader.
