Spain's weather agency AEMET has issued a red alert for torrential rains in Valencia, Castellón and Tarragona, advising people not to travel. Orange alerts have forced the suspension of classes in more than 30 schools, the closure of parks and warnings from universities including the Universitat Politècnica de València. Spanish media report renewed fear of flooding across the Comunitat Valenciana a year after deadly floods.
