Al-Aqsa

Hundreds of Israelis entered the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in Jerusalem's Old City, according to Al Jazeera. The compound, a frequent flashpoint between Israelis and Palestinians, is sacred to both Muslims and Jews. Such incursions often draw condemnation from Palestinian groups and Arab states and raise fears of wider escalation in the region.
