Alex Ferguson

The Premier League, the world's most-watched football competition, has never been won by an English manager, despite more than three decades of competition. The most successful manager in its history is Sir Alex Ferguson of Scotland, who claimed 13 titles with Manchester United before retiring in 2013. The league's draw for global talent and foreign coaches means English managers have never reached the top of England's own domestic game.
