Anthrax

Metal fans are celebrating what they call the year of thrash metal by sharing favourite riffs under the Thrash Thursday hashtag. One post highlights "The Long Goodbye" by Anthrax from the album "Cursum Perficio," released in 2026, encouraging others to play and share classic thrash tracks throughout the day.

A member of KISS served as the officiant at an Anthrax rocker's wedding, according to reports circulating in rock and metal news circles. The story has drawn attention from fans of both bands, who are sharing reactions to the unexpected crossover between the two heavy metal institutions and the personal milestone it marks.
