Arizona school system

The Arizona State Board of Education has voted to reform the A-F letter grade system used to rate schools, with officials expecting fewer schools to receive an A rating under the revised standards. The change is likely to prompt debate among parents, educators and lawmakers about how school performance should be measured and how the new grades will affect perceptions of local schools.
