Berkshire Research Group, the global consulting and expert services firm known as BRG, has appointed Marc Metrick, formerly chief executive of Saks Global, as a managing director in its corporate finance practice. The move brings a veteran luxury retail executive into an advisory role, and it is drawing attention as Metrick's first major role since departing Saks Global, where he led the company through its combination of Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus.
