Breadcrumb

A new tool called Breadcrumb has been launched on Hacker News, offering Mac users a way to record everything happening on their screen and turn it into a context manager for AI assistants. The product, built by Innerloop, is aimed at giving AI tools better memory of user activity. Early engagement on the launch has been positive, with developers debating the usefulness and privacy implications of always-on recording.

Stefan Wintermeyer describes how his consulting business was built for decades on pull marketing: publishing books, articles, blog posts and talks to attract clients, which he compares to scattering breadcrumbs in a fairy-tale forest. He says this content-driven approach helped many people and drew customers to him over the years.
