Alaska saw unseasonably warm high temperatures on Sunday, with warmth persisting across Southeast Alaska, the southern Yukon Territory, Kodiak Island and the Alaska Peninsula. At the same time, freeze-up is well underway on the North Slope and in the Brooks Range, highlighting a sharp seasonal divide across the state.
