CScale, a startup working on scale-up interconnect technology, has launched out of stealth with $188 million in funding. The company is building interconnect hardware designed to link processors more closely together, an area seen as increasingly important for AI and high-performance computing workloads. The funding total was reported by SiliconANGLE, making CScale one of the notable chip infrastructure debuts this cycle.
