Portuguese coach Carlos Queiroz has resigned as head coach of Ghana's national football team after the side lost two matches at the start of qualifying for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations. His departure leaves Ghana searching for a new coach ahead of the continuation of its qualifying campaign, with fans and pundits debating who should take over.

Carlos Queiroz has departed his position as Ghana head coach, just months after being appointed for a second spell in charge of the national team. The Portuguese coach had previously held the role earlier in the year, making this his second exit from Ghana in three months, leaving the Black Stars searching for another manager.
