Chernihiv

Air raid alerts have been issued across much of Ukraine as monitoring groups report a large wave of jet-powered attack drones. UAVs were detected heading towards the Kyiv region, including Makariv, Dymer, Hostomel and Nemishayev, as well as Chernihiv, Poltava, Kirovohrad and Odesa regions, with Slavutych and other Chernihiv towns also flagged. Air defence forces are responding as residents await updates on interceptions and any damage.

Air raid alerts were issued across northern Ukraine as jet-powered attack drones targeted the Kyiv and Chernihiv regions on 10 October. Two drones were detected in Slavutych, with single drones reported over Kyiv, Vyshhorod and Vasylkiv. Authorities also warned of a possible glide bomb threat against the Sumy region.

Ukraine's air alert monitors reported a jet-powered drone detected in the Chernihiv region, flying toward the city of Slavutych. The alert was graded 9/10 on the threat scale, indicating high urgency. Residents in northern Ukraine were urged to take shelter as air defence tracked the fast-moving UAV's trajectory.

A Russian jet-powered attack drone has been detected over the Ripky area in northern Chernihiv region, Ukraine, moving in a south-western direction. Monitors rate the threat 8 out of 10, warning of potential strikes deeper into Ukrainian territory as drone attacks continue.
