Colchester

parkrun UK has published a farewell message titled 'Thank you and goodbye from parkrun and Markshall', signalling the end of the weekly free timed run at Markshall, the estate park near Colchester, Essex. No detailed reason was given in the message, but organisers used it to thank volunteers and participants who supported the event during its time there.

Colchester United are gearing up to face Luton Town, with local coverage in the Colchester Gazette highlighting that the Hatters present a very different tactical challenge from recent opponents. Fans are discussing how Colchester will set up against a Luton side whose style demands adjustments, making the fixture one of the more anticipated matchups on the club's schedule.
