ICANN used the Commonwealth Telecommunications Organisation's 125th anniversary celebrations to underline its commitment to a stable, secure and interoperable internet built on multistakeholder cooperation. The organisation's message focused on collaboration across governments, industry and civil society as the backbone of global internet governance, with the anniversary serving as a moment to reflect on more than a century of international telecommunications coordination.
