Nearly 12,000 solar panels have gone live over a blueberry field in eastern Germany, mounted 10 to 13 feet above the crops so farm machinery can pass underneath. Before construction began, ordnance crews removed hand grenades from the soil, a reminder of the region's wartime past. The project combines agriculture with power generation, a dual-use model gaining attention as Germany expands renewable energy on farmland.
