DNA technology

Arkansas has become the third US state to implement Rapid DNA technology in its state crime lab. The technology allows DNA profiles to be developed much faster than traditional lab methods, potentially speeding up investigations and identifications. The move places Arkansas among a small group of states using the system statewide, and officials expect it to shorten turnaround times for law enforcement agencies awaiting results.
