Dan James

Wales defeated Norway in a UEFA Nations League match, with goals from Dan James and Neco Williams securing the win under manager Craig Bellamy. Bellamy said questions over Wales's form were not unfair ahead of the game, while attention focused on Erling Haaland, though Wales downplayed the Manchester City factor. The fixture drew worldwide interest, with pre-match coverage covering odds, line-ups, referee and broadcast details.

Leeds United winger Dan James featured for Wales during the international break, and his latest performance is being read as a clear signal for manager Daniel Farke. Pundits and supporters in Leeds argue the display makes it obvious how Farke should use James when Premier League action resumes, with his pace and work rate again central to Wales' play. Discussion is focused on whether the Welshman has now nailed down a regular starting spot at Elland Road.
