Italian journalist Manuela Moreno is competing on the new season of Ballando con le stelle. In a preview she said she plans to let loose on the dance floor, though her professional dancer reminded her the priority is training. Coverage has also focused on her private life, including her husband Giacomo Maiolini and their children, as well as the show's new judging panel and the absence of bandleader Paolo Belli this season.

Ballando con le Stelle host Milly Carlucki joked that a 'triangle' has formed between judge Carolyn Smith-era star Pasquale La Rocca, presenter Barbara D'Urso and conductor Riccardo Muti, according to RaiNews. La Rocca, the show's multiple-winning professional dancer, is once again at the centre of Italian entertainment chatter as the Rai dance competition draws attention with off-stage intrigue.

Italian actress Anna Safroncik is drawing attention as a contestant on the new season of the Rai 1 show Ballando con le Stelle. Italian outlets profile her Ukrainian origins, her acting career, her romance with Tommaso Cicchinelli and her passion for tennis. Coverage of the program also includes fellow contestants Elena Sofia Ricci and dancer Leonardo Lini, with bookmakers already speculating on a winner.

Dancing with the Stars professional Val Chmerkovskiy is drawing searches in the US and Canada. The renewed attention comes as the show faces criticism, with Steve Kazee, fiancé of host-adjacent figure Jenna Dewan, publicly defending her against backlash tied to the series. Fans are debating the show's recent moments and the people around it.
