Director Danny Boyle has publicly endorsed British actor Jack O'Connell as his pick to be the next James Bond, adding a prominent voice to ongoing speculation about who will succeed Daniel Craig in the franchise. The endorsement is drawing attention as fans and media continue to debate the casting decision ahead of an official announcement.

Leeds United winger Dan James featured for Wales during the international break, and his latest performance is being read as a clear signal for manager Daniel Farke. Pundits and supporters in Leeds argue the display makes it obvious how Farke should use James when Premier League action resumes, with his pace and work rate again central to Wales' play. Discussion is focused on whether the Welshman has now nailed down a regular starting spot at Elland Road.

Daniel James produced an unusual goal celebration during Fulham's Premier League match against Nottingham Forest, prompting questions about its meaning. 'Daddy Wellness', a wellness account associated with Fulham goalkeeper David Raya's circle of player-run social media, is said to have explained the gesture, which reportedly references the 'SIU' celebration popularised by Cristiano Ronaldo.
