Dark Reading

The cover of YOB's album Clearing the Path to Ascend is being discussed for its striking imagery: a dark, monochrome mountain landscape beneath three golden celestial forms. Commenters read the artwork as depicting an arduous inner journey, with layered peaks and clouds suggesting a passage through darkness toward illumination, echoing the doom metal band's spiritual and cathartic musical themes.
