Dbx

A lightweight open-source database client called Dbx is drawing attention online. The Rust-based tool weighs just 25 MB, works across desktop, Docker and CLI, and connects to more than 100 databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite, Redis, MongoDB, DuckDB, SQL Server and China's Dameng. It also ships with a built-in AI assistant and an MCP server. Developers appear drawn to its small footprint and broad database support as an alternative to heavier management tools.
