Twenty-five years after the 2001 World Conference Against Racism in Durban, rights advocates are revisiting its Declaration and Programme of Action. The International Service for Human Rights is marking the anniversary by linking public security, racial justice and responses to today's overlapping crises. Observers say many of the commitments made in Durban remain unfulfilled, with racism, xenophobia and discriminatory policing still widespread globally.
