Egyptian-Hittite peace treaty

A fragment of the world's oldest known peace treaty has been discovered in Turkey. The text is associated with the Egyptian-Hittite treaty of Kadesh from the 13th century BCE, between Pharaoh Ramses II and the Hittite king Hattusili III.
