Environment Colorado

Volunteers in Colorado are taking part in the 2026 Roadside Wildlife Count, an effort to tally animals observed along roads across the state. The annual survey is promoted by conservation groups such as Environment America and helps track wildlife populations and road-related animal deaths. Participation is open to residents reporting sightings as part of the coordinated count.
