Etihad

Etihad Airways, Manchester City's principal sponsor, is considering legal action against the Premier League, according to Sky Sports News. The move would escalate the fallout from the league's governance of its commercial rules, which have already put the club and the competition at odds. Details of the potential claim and its grounds have not yet been made public.

Manchester City's hopes of overturning their UEFA punishment are being questioned after a 2015 statement from club sponsor Etihad resurfaced. The old declaration appears to undermine key arguments the club is relying on in its appeal, and pundits are debating whether it weakens City's case. Fans remain divided over how much damage the revelation actually does.
