Fellowship Program

Two graduate students at the University of Colorado Boulder have been awarded prestigious National Defense fellowships. The awards support advanced research with relevance to national security and are among the most competitive fellowships available to graduate students in science and engineering fields. The university announced the news, highlighting the students' achievements and the recognition it brings to their research programs.

First United Methodist Church in Knoxville is continuing its regular community meals, gatherings that offer free food and a chance for residents to meet neighbors. The meals have become a steady fixture of local life, drawing people of different backgrounds around a shared table. Organizers say the program remains focused on fellowship as much as food, reinforcing the church's role as a community hub.
