The Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Groningen is hosting a conference titled 'Utopias of Work: Historical Perspectives' on 22–23 October 2026. The event asks what philosophers from Plato to Fichte can teach us about justice, freedom and virtue at work today, and will examine liberal, socialist and feminist perspectives on work and utopia.
