Fire Tablets

Amazon is dropping its Fire OS software on new tablets and switching to Android instead. The move, reported by The Star, marks a major shift for the company's tablet line, which has long run its own custom operating system. Details about timing, affected models and what the change means for existing users remain limited in early coverage.
