Forstag

Candidates Forstag and Flint have laid out their policy positions ahead of an upcoming election, according to local reporting from Montana. The coverage gives voters a side-by-side look at where each candidate stands on key issues. Few further details about the specific policies or the office contested are available in the available reporting.

Congressional candidate and union leader Forstag visited the Gallatin Labor Temple in Montana, sitting down with the Bozeman Daily Chronicle for a question-and-answer session during the stop. The visit underscores the candidate's ties to organized labor as the congressional race draws attention across the region, with the discussion covering campaign priorities and worker issues.

Sam Forstag, previously known for work on wildfires, is now running for office, transitioning from wildfire-related work to an election campaign. Details of the office he is seeking and his platform were not immediately available, but the move marks a shift from emergency response and land management issues into electoral politics.
