Geran drones

Russian President Vladimir Putin was presented with the Geran-4 and Geran-5 jet-powered unmanned aerial vehicles, according to a report by BFM.ru. The showcase highlights Moscow's continued push to upgrade its drone fleet with jet propulsion, and the story is drawing significant attention among Russian-speaking audiences. No further technical details about the drones were given in the report.

A representative of Ukraine's Ministry of Defense and an advisor to President Zelenskyy say Russian signal repeaters have been installed in Kyiv to improve the accuracy of Geran drones. The claim, circulated via open-source intelligence channels, suggests Russian electronic warfare assets may be operating inside the capital. There is no independent confirmation yet, and questions remain about how the repeaters would have been placed and how extensively they are being used.
