H-1B program

The Trump administration is suspending Microsoft's participation in a green card program, according to an AP News report citing comments involving Vice President JD Vance and the H-1B visa program. The move targets one of the largest US tech employers and its use of employment-based immigration pathways. The suspension signals a harder line on skilled immigration and could affect Microsoft's ability to sponsor foreign workers for permanent residency.
