Hansen

A new film titled 'Primetime' portrays television host Chris Hansen, known for confronting suspected predators on camera, in the style of a horror-movie villain. A reporter who covers sex crimes reviewed the film, arguing that its depiction reframes the familiar sting-show format as something sinister. Reaction is focusing on how the movie reinterprets a well-known figure from American crime television and what that says about the ethics of predator-sting programming.
