Ukrainian tank units have carried out strikes in the Kharkiv region, with reports claiming Russian forces suffered around 2,000 casualties in 24 hours. The claimed loss toll is drawing attention to the intensity of the fighting and continuing debate over the accuracy of daily casualty counts from either side.
