Hathras

Congress leader Supriya Shrinate said the public will hold authorities accountable for the bodies seen floating in the Ganga during the Covid crisis and for the Hathras gang-rape case, asking who will apologise for what she called the burning daughter of Hathras. The remarks, made on an India News debate programme, are part of opposition criticism of the BJP and Uttar Pradesh government's record on these incidents.
