Mulhouse is drawing attention on several fronts. An October 17 protest in the city left two people seriously injured in the eyes, with 38 arrests, and a 17-year-old lost sight in one eye after being hit by a tear-gas grenade, prompting an IGPN investigation. Authorities have banned further demonstrations in Mulhouse, Nancy and Besançon. Separately, eight Bugatti hypercars will be displayed on the Place de la Réunion on October 26.
