Japan's computer emergency response team JPCERT/CC has issued a warning about a wave of data breaches affecting Japanese organizations since around September. The attacks do not rely on a single shared flaw. Instead, three patterns have been observed: scanning targets for known vulnerabilities and exposed configuration or backup files, abuse of internal APIs using endpoints and keys, and other targeted techniques.
