Jolly

Florida gubernatorial candidate Jolly, campaigning in Miami, has promised immigration protections to the city's Haitian community. The pledge comes as candidates compete for South Florida's immigrant voters, many of whom have been affected by changing federal policies on Temporary Protected Status and asylum. The community's leaders have been pressing campaigns for concrete commitments on legal status.
