Policy experts and political leaders have called on the Nepali Congress to adopt a sharper, more clearly defined foreign policy, according to a report by The Kathmandu Post. The appeal reflects growing concern that the party, a key player in Nepal's coalition politics, lacks a decisive stance on relations with neighbours and major powers.

Senior figures of the Nepali Congress used a party convention to call for generational change in the party's leadership and for building a national consensus on the country's political path. The Kathmandu Post reported the appeals from the gathering, underscoring internal pressure to renew leadership and unite broader political forces.
