Kauda

Sudan's paramilitary Rapid Support Forces has sent a delegation to Kauda, a rebel-held town in the Nuba Mountains, to try to mediate an end to deadly clashes there. The fighting has reportedly caused fatalities in the area, and the RSF's intervention is being watched given its own war with the Sudanese army and its contested role in regional conflicts.
