Japan Display (JDI) has begun mass production of WhiteMagic PRO, a new LCD with twice the brightness of previous panels, designed to stay clearly visible outdoors, including in cameras. Separately, the company is planning to redevelop the site of its former Tottori factory into a commercial facility. The announcements highlight JDI's push into high-brightness displays while reshaping its domestic manufacturing footprint.
