Mirror Particle

A feature published by Realnoe Vremya explores three frontier science topics: particles arriving from deep in the Universe, the so-called mirror nature of life, and the molecular "switch" that controls neurons. The piece connects research on cosmic particles with biology and neuroscience, highlighting how fundamental physics intersects with questions about the origin of life and how brain cells turn on and off.

TechCrunch reports that startup Mirror Particle is developing a 'world model' of human behavior — an AI system designed to predict and simulate how people act, in the vein of world models being pursued by leading AI labs. Details on funding, founders and technical approach remain limited, and the coverage has drawn modest attention from AI and startup communities.

Startup Mirror Particle will debut at TechCrunch Disrupt's Startup Battlefield 200 with a 'world model' built from scratch to predict human behavior. The company argues that large language models relying on role-play fall short for market research and brand testing, and that its purpose-built model offers more reliable predictions of how people will act and respond.
