Austrian cooling specialist Noctua says it wants to adapt server-grade cooling capable of handling around 2000 watts of thermal load for use in desktop PCs. The move targets next-generation processors and graphics cards whose power draw keeps climbing, potentially bringing data-center-class air or liquid cooling solutions to consumer systems.
