Penn State Extension is holding two in-person volunteer riparian buffer planting events in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, on November 3 and 14. Volunteers will help plant trees and shrubs along waterways, a practice that filters runoff, stabilizes streambanks, and improves water quality in the Chesapeake Bay watershed. The events invite community members to take part in hands-on local conservation work during the fall planting season.
