Spitfire PK519, the last project of noted Spitfire restorer Peter Arnold, often called 'Mr. Spitfire', has sold for £18,000 at auction. The airframe, which Arnold had been working on before his death, went to a new owner among aviation enthusiasts and collectors. The sale marks the end of one of the UK's best-known warbird restoration stories.
