Prince Edward

Attention in Germany is turning to the British royal family and Lady Louise Windsor, the daughter of Prince Edward and Duchess Sophie. Reports note that an outdated rule was changed too late, so Lady Louise remains behind her younger brother James in the line of succession. Commentators are pointing to the case as an example of lingering male-preference rules within the monarchy.

Prince Edward, the Duke of Edinburgh, is reported to have visited schools in Baltimore, Maryland, drawing local attention in the DC-Maryland-Virginia area. Coverage is circulating via independent local news outlets, with residents sharing the royal visit as an unusual event for the city's public schools.
